About

An intergenerational relay — from those who built our community to those who will sustain it.

The Polish Diaspora Youth Volunteer Corps is a project initiated by Joanna Fabisiak, President of the “Świat na TAK” Foundation in Warsaw. KMWP Australia answers the recommendations of “Forum Młodej Polonii”, a six-month consultation with Polish Australian youth.

The generation that worked so selflessly to ensure Poland could flourish is gradually passing on. Younger generations pick up the baton. The coordinator of KMWP Australia is Henryk Kurylewski, Vice-President of the Australian Polish Community Council.

Where we are right now.

Founded in 2025. Through 2026 we are recruiting City Coordinators in each of the eight Australian capitals, finalising operational rules under the “Świat na TAK” Foundation, and signing on the first cohort of Youth Volunteers. The work begins in earnest once contingents are in place. If you would coordinate your city, write to us this month.
